Open Space Conservation Strategy available for public comment

Washington, DC (June 22, 2007)- The Draft Forest Service Open Space Conservation Strategy is now available for public review and comment. A Federal Register Notice inviting public comment was published on June 22nd, and comments will be accepted until July 23rd.


In conjunction with the Draft Strategy, the Forest Service has updated their website with a new interactive section that highlights loss of open space examples from around the country. View the Draft Strategy, submit comments, find resources, and learn more about Forest Service efforts to conserve open space all at the Open Space Conservation website.
