Service Event

Come learn about Friends of Trees' Greenspace Initiative (GSI) and plant trees along the I-205 bike path. This service event is more than a way to catch-up with friends... it is an opportunity to learn from a national leader in urban forestry. We invite you to start off your conference experience by seeing first-hand how they do things in Portland! Vans depart from the hotel.

Marketing Seminar
The "Leveraging a Positive Perception in a Competitive Marketplace" training will provide opportunities for interaction, exercises, and discussion. The program content is designed to focus on the fundamentals of good marketing with community trees as the product. The session is included with registration, so plan your travel accordingly.

Scholarships
A limited number of travel scholarships are available to help defray airfare and lodging costs for 501c3 member organizations. This scholarship is available through generous support from The Home Depot Foundation, National Tree Trust, and USDA Forest Service.

More details are coming, but please hold these dates. We hope to see you this November in Portland!
