WEEK 4
Tulsa Plans 18 NeighborWoods Month Events!
Four of Up With Trees' 18 NeighborWoods Month events happen this week. Last week they kicked off the campaign to replant the 20,000 trees lost in the December 2007 ice storm with a press conference that included State Rep. Jeannie McDaniel, and officials from U.S. Cong. Sullivan's office and the mayor's Community Development Director. This week, the campaign continues at the Skelly Early Chilood Education Center, where Up With Trees will be joined by volunteers from area Home Depot stores. This event is just one of more than 600 events in 231 cities this month. Register your event today or volunteer with one near you... there are events every day!
