SPOTLIGHT
Leveraging NeighborWoods Materials
Keep It Moving (Detroit) has been planning their NeighborWoods Month event since before summer 2009. So when ACT announced this year's suite of materials, Keep It Moving knew exactly what they needed. Among other gear, they qualified for 50 free Tshirts. Then, using their Mini-Grant, they applied for 2 additional banners and a videographer. So now their October 23-24 events in Pingree Park will not only leverage the national campaign, but also capture a clear picture of volunteer service in action among a sea of NeighborWoods branding. Pretty smart.

SPOTLIGHT
Personalize Your Gear
This year, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, Savannah Tree Foundation, and Keep Covington/Newton Beautiful are just a few of the organizations who will promote themsevles as NeighborWoods Month participants by adding their logo to banners, posters, and doorhangers or NeighborWoods logos to other gear such as gator bags, Camelbaks, and signage. Bring visibilty and extra attention to your events this October by joining the national campaign and branding your gear.
