Green Infrastructure Summit
May 14-15, 2009
(Washington, DC)- Now is the time to harness the momentum of a new Congress and a new administration. It is critical that Members of Congress understand the implications of policy choices on the ability of our cities to sustain their economies and promote more sustainable development. The Alliance for Community Trees, working with various partners to organize two days of Hill meetings, Congressional Briefings, and dialogue.

LOCAL STORY
Maryland Forests: No Net Loss
Annapolis, MD (April 6, 2009)- Preservation of forest land, one of our greatest and most valuable natural resources, is essential in our overall efforts to clean up and preserve our environment in general and the Chesapeake Bay in particular. The Maryland Legislature now looks likely to pass a No Net Loss of Forests policy for the State of Maryland.
