ACT Partners with American Bar Association to Plant One Million Trees
(College Park, MD)- In cooperation with the American Bar Association's (ABA) Section on Environment, Energy and Resources (SEER), the Alliance for Community Trees is pleased to announce the "Right Tree for the Right Place at the Right Time" nationwide public service project. The project calls on ABA members to contribute to the goal of planting one million trees across the United States in the next five years.

 


   
 


LOCAL STORY
Somerville's getting 150 trees greener
Somerville, NJ (April 2, 2009)- Money may not grow on trees, but Somerville is trying to save some by planting them. The borough is working with the state Department of Environmental Protection's Community Forestry Cool Cities Initiative to help offset residents' energy costs by planting 150 shade trees in the borough this spring.
