LOCAL STORY
Casey Trees Wheels Out Water By-Cycle
(Washington, DC)- Casey Trees' urban forestry field crew is now on bikes. Water By-Cycle, the nation's first bicycle-powered program created to water and care for a City's trees, officially launched following its "christening" by a bottle of sports drink. It was conceived as an environmentally responsible and more efficient way to reach trees located in neighborhoods with limited street parking.
