Trees for Healthy Homes Award
Deadline: October 1
Trees for Healthy Homes is a national honor given by the Alliance for Community Trees. The award recognizes cities and counties for improving the environmental health and livability of affordable housing through investments in trees and community forest stewardship.

 

   
 


LOCAL STORY
French Broad NeighborWoods Tree Planting Kickoff
(Asheville, NC)- Asheville GreenWorks is kicking off its "Trees to Success" project to improve the health and livability of the French Broad Neighborhood. This NeighborWoods tree planting initiative will help revitalize the neighborhood's public housing complexes by beautifying the area and lowering residents' energy costs.
