Trees on the playground = healthier kids
(Washington, DC)- Our kids need safe and healthy places to play, and the Alliance for Community Trees challenges you to think about safer and healthier places for kids. We're talking about greening playspaces. Trees and landscaping are often considered "extras," and are first on the budget chopping block, but read more for reasons to reconsider trees as critical to your playspace. 

 

   
 


LOCAL STORY
Trash to Trees gets donation
(Gillette, WY)- Prairie city or not, Gillette aspires to be a city full of trees and for the past several years, the city has rewarded people who volunteer to clean up the city with trees to plant. The Chamber of Commerce helped by providing prizes, incentives, extra trees, and marketing for the event.
