Members of Congress Discuss Green Agenda
(Washington, DC)- This week, seven Members of Congress will join the Alliance for Community to talk about green infrastructure, and at least as many will meet with ACT members in their offices. At this moment when all attention is on the economy, urban forestry is on the front lines of job creation, neighborhood stabilization, and cost effective infrastructure planning.

Instructor named semi-finalist for Volunteer of the Year
(Springfield, MO)- Abigale Ehlers, Missouri State University instructor of hospitality and restaurant administration, was selected as an Alliance for Community Trees' (ACT) top semi-finalist for Volunteer of the Year.

 
     

GREEN JOBS
Program Manager- Grants
(Davis, CA)- The Program Manager for Grants oversees all aspects of California ReLeaf's pass-through grant programs, including writing grant guidelines, soliciting proposals, coordinating the grant evaluation and award process, securing executed contracts, accounting for all grant funds, and reporting on grant successes and failures.
