ACT Invited to White House Conference
(Washington, DC)- This spring, ACT executive director Alice Ewen was honored to participate in The White House Conference on America's Great Outdoors. Organized by the Obama Administration, the conference addressed the challenges, opportunities and innovations surrounding modern-day land conservation and the importance of connecting Americans and their families to their outdoor environments.

Raleigh NeighborWoods Program Closing In On 10,000th Tree
(Raleigh, NC)- The City of Raleigh NeighborWoods program is closing in on delivery of its 10,000th tree and should reach that goal this year, according to a report approved by the Raleigh City Council on Tuesday. The program is designed to add significantly to the trees lining Raleigh streets by planting trees on public rights-of-way along city streets.

(Washington, DC)- Casey Trees seeks to hire a Director of Geographic Resources to manage this department's many projects and staff. The primary role of this position is to lead the Geographic Resources programs including the Trees Count inventories and the DC Trees Geodatabase.
