2010 Advocacy Agenda
(College Park, MD)- ACT's Policy Committee met recently and set the following five priorities for this year's national advocacy agenda: Climate Bill, Green Communities Act, Urban Revitalization and Livable Communities Act, SBA Tree Planting Program, and U&CF Program. There are many other issues and bills that we continue to work on at a national level, but our hope is that every member will push together on these five issues this year.

Business consortium wants blooming boulevards downtown
(Minneapolis, MN)- Walking around downtown Minneapolis, it's hard to find evidence of the reasons for its verdant reputation, seeing as there is so much more gray everywhere than green. But that's going to change this spring when the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District adds a new greening program to its current focus of making downtown cleaner and safer.
