ACT Applauds Introduction of Senate SBA Tree Planting Bill
(College Park, Md.)- Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) has introduced S. 3279, A bill to reauthorize the national small business tree planting program. This legislation recognizes the critical role that the built environment- including green infrastructure- plays in order for small businesses to be able to create jobs, promote energy efficiency, and provide positive customer experiences.

Mastering New York's urban forest
(New York, NY)- Fabian Vazquez is a teenager who spends hours on end climbing trees in New York City concrete jungle. He's training to become an arborist, a person who focuses on the health and safety of individual plants and trees.

Executive Director
(Lowell, MA)- The Merrimack River Watershed Council is a nonprofit 501c3 organization formed in 1976 by citizens and regional planning commissions to promote citizen involvement in the clean-up of the Merrimack River.
