Washington, DC (November 12, 2013) – ACTrees welcomes five new members to its Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning January 2014. Two current Directors will serve a second three-year term. Please join us in congratulating our new Directors and thanking those who continue to serve.
Guided by Nominating Committee Chair and Past ACTrees Board President Ray Tretheway, ACTrees accepted nominations from its Network of Member and Program Partner organizations across the country for the ACTrees Board of Directors.
By October, five new individuals emerged as candidates for the Board and two current Directors confirmed their interest in serving a second three-year term. Votes were cast electronically and then in-person before the start of ACTrees Day, November 5. And, when counted and verified, ACTrees Board President David Forsell welcomed the successful candidates to the Board for three-year terms beginning January 2014.
