Help out at the Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary work day

Asheville, NC (October 16, 2009)- Participate in a day of work from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary owned by the Elisha Mitchell Audubon Society. (Please note that there are no restroom facilities at the sanctuary.) The location is 1199 Merrimon Ave., Asheville, meeting at the gazebo. The sanctuary is across from the Country Club of Asheville golf course.


National NeighborWoods Month is part of the National NeighborWoods program, an initiative to re-green North American cities from coast to coast. The National NeighborWoods initiative is a program of the national Alliance for Community Trees in partnership with The Home Depot Foundation.
