Hike for Katreena Leverages NeighborWoods Month To Plant More Trees

New Orleans, LA (October 27, 2007)- Monique Pilie, Hike for Katreena, and an enthusiastic crowd of volunteers planted 99 trees at Earhart and Jefferson Davis Parkway. Mr. Handyman International partnered to make Mr. Handyman Park at the intersection of Earhart Boulevard and Jefferson Davis Parkway a reality. Support was also provided by the City of New Orleans Parks and Parkways Department and Treegator. Generous support was provided by The Home Depot Foundation and the Alliance for Community Trees. Hike for Katreena has planted over 1,000 trees in New Orleans so far.
