New ACT Member- The Tree Bank

Edmond, OK (July 31, 2007)- The Tree Bank is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Oklahoma through tree plantings and proper maintenance. By promoting urban forestry partnerships between non-profit organizations, government agencies, and the private sector, The Tree Bank works to make Oklahoma a greener, cleaner, more beautiful place to live.


They supply a wide variety of sizes and species for planting at schools, municipal parks and medians, churches, turnpikes and neighborhood public lands. They also offer trees to other non-profit agencies.
The Tree Bank has distributed almost 89,000 seedlings through Hometown Trees, a national tree-planting effort. Many of the seedlings are grown at Tree Bank tree farms state wide. Their tree farm partners provide the land, machinery, equipment and personnel to operate the farms.
