UnEarthed: Art created from the Trees of Allegheny Cemetery

Pittsburgh, PA (October 27, 2008)- Join Friends for our first-ever fundraiser! Unearthed features artwork crafted from trees felled in Allegheny Cemetery. Woodworkers were given the raw material, provided by trees that were removed by the cemetery because they had diseases, presented hazards, or had fallen during storms.


Artwork: Jennifer Bechak, Olof Berner, Robert Bishop, Jason Boone, Tom Brunger, Shanna Dejuliis,Karen Evancho, Kyle Ethan Fischer, Linnea Glick, Pete Johnson, Joey Kennedy, Jim Ladner, Nate Lucas, Eileen McCann, John Metzler, Elvira Peake, Todd Sanders, Sharon Serbin, James Sicheck, and Randie Snow.
Music: Oak Tree Baroque Trio featuring Peggy Yoo, flute, Susanne Park, violin, and David Sogg, bassoon, & Pittsburgh’s seven piece party Metropolitans.
Food & Beverages: Six Penn Kitchen, Whole Foods Market, East End Brewing
