New York (August 2007)- The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation has released a new report discussing the complexity of the climate change problem, the policy and legislation needed to create change, and the increasingly important role that philanthropy can play in this area.
One of the key recommendations is to reduce energy usage through energy efficiency partnerships with utility companies. ACT members such as the Sacramento Tree Foundation, Trees for Tucson, Trees Forever, Baton Rouge Green, and Texas Trees Foundation are already working on this.
