Help Spread the Word
Although the professional staff of ACT’s more than 60 nonprofit organization members combine more than 500 years of total experience and span the country from Philadelphia to Los Angeles, Denver to Des Moines, and Washington, DC to Baton Rouge, many others are working on urban forestry locally and unaware to us. Still more citizens would like to be involved locally, but don’t know how to get started or who will support them. ACT can help partner local needs with national attention, share ideas and initiatives, and provide financial support. But we need your help.
Often local officials are the first point of contact for civic-minded citizens who want the economic, social, and health benefits of urban forests in their communities. By partnering with ACT, you can provide citizens with timely and accurate information, that aid them in taking community ownership.
