The Alliance for Community Trees seeks to improve public policy through not only supporting the Forest Service's Urban and Community Forestry program, but also advocating for the role of trees in Energy & Commerce, Transportation & Infrastructure, Financial Services, Environment & Public Works, and Science. By lobbying for specific bills and amendments and encouraging hearings on related issues, we work to educate lawmakers about the economic and community development benefits of trees in their districts.
