2010 NACD Legislative Conference

NACD is eager for conservation leaders from across the nation to join the 2010 Summer Board Meeting and Legislative Conference. The popular annual event will allow NACD members to learn more about policy issues impacting conservation at both local and national levels. The Conference will be held at the Washington Court Hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of Union Station, the US Capital Building and the National Mall.
This year's program includes informative speakers, meetings with your members of Congress, and an open house at NACD's Headquarters office. The meeting kicks off with a Sunday reception and will include a service project on Wednesday so be sure to arrange your travel plans to include the fun. There will also be the 4th annual Capitol Hill Congressional Reception, allowing members to network with Congressional staff. While you are here, take in DC's many summertime activities like the concerts by military bands, the National Mall, museums, bus tours and more.
