7th Annual Tree School

Friends of Jefferson the Beautiful and the Louisiana Urban Forestry Council will lead this comprehensive, one-day workshop on the care and preservation of mature trees in the urban landscape.

When: 8:30am-4:00pm
Where: Jefferson Parish Eastbank Regional Library (4747 West Napoleon Avenue)

Distinguished tree experts who will be presenting are:
* Kim D. Coder, Professor of Forest Resources at the University of Georgia.
* Todd Watson, Asst. Professor of Urban & Community Forestry at Texas A&M University.
* Neil Odenwald, Professor Emertius of Landscape Architecture at Louisiana State University.
* Howard L. Eyre, Asst. Professor of Ornamental Horticulture & Environmental Design at Delaware Valley College.
* John Klingman, Tulane University School of Architecture.
* Tom Campbell, Regional Specialist with the LA Department of Agriculture & Forestry.

Free and open to the public. Lunch is provided. Attendance is limited.
