Georgia Urban Forest Council College Canopy Conference

Georgia's Urban Forest Council's Conference is for college and university physical plant managers, landscape directors, grounds managers, staff, and administrators who know the value of maintaining healthy trees on their campuses. This year's conference will address campus urban forestry concerns relevant to these challenging economic times.
Sessions include technology and techniques for preserving and maintaining campus trees, using consulting arborists, Emory's No Net Forest Loss initiative, Tree Campus USA, Innovative Service Learning Projects, Tree Preservation on Construction Sites, and a panel discussion, "How Do We Do More With Less?" Optional end-of-day tours of Emory's Lullwater Forest, the Emory Quadrangle, and Baker Woods.
