Keynote Speakers
Xavier Bonnefoy: Designing and Developing Healthy, Active, Livable Housing and Communities
Xavier Bonnefoy has 16 years experience with the World Health Organization (WHO) and is a prominent international speaker and consultant who provides unique insight into the relevance of green building and public health. At the WHO, he developed a body of evidence on the many links between housing and health and a set of indicators for national and local governments. Currently, Bonnefoy's research focuses on healthy urban planning strategies and the health impacts of global climate change.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.: Our Environmental Destiny
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has a national reputation as a resolute defender of the environment. Kennedy serves as senior attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council and is the author of the New York Times bestseller Crimes Against Nature and The Riverkeepers. Mr. Kennedy was named one of Time magazine's "Heroes for the Planet" for his success in helping Riverkeeper lead the fight to restore the Hudson River. The group's achievement helped spawn more than 150 Waterkeeper organizations cross the globe.
