National Green Infrastructure Conference 2011

The Inaugural 2011 National Green Infrastructure Conference is a gathering of policy-makers, practitioners, and on-the-ground implementers of green infrastructure practices and design from around the country. This is the first official conference of the National Green Infrastructure Community of Practice.

In addition to the information presented at the conference, an optional Primer on Green Infrastructure will be offered on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. The primer is an opportunity for conference attendees that are new to the concepts of green infrastructure planning and network design to gain a broad understanding of the definitions, principles, and history of green infrastructure in preparation for the conference. Advanced registration is required for this day.

This conference is offered by: The Conservation Fund in partnership with US Department of Defense, US Environmental Protection Agency, US Fish & Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, US National Park Service, Federal Highway Administration, American Planning Association, National Association of Clean Water Agencies, Clean Water America Alliance and the Green Infrastructure Community of Practice.

The registration deadline is January 21, 2011.
