Workshop Explores Demographic Data Studies

GIS Mapping and Demographic Analysis Workshops, offered by Calm River Demographics, are specifically designed to help nonprofit organizations acquire detailed neighborhood-level demographic data and create compelling maps of their communities.
During the first class of the three-day workshop, participants will learn to perform in-depth demographic studies using Federal Census data, including the new American Community Survey data. Over the course of the next two days, the second class will focus on using census data in Geographic Information System (GIS) software to develop specific community maps.
