2008 Trees for Success National Tree Planting Campaign

Schools throughout the United States can apply to host a tree-planting celebration in 2008 made possible by The Home Depot Foundation and The Arbor Day Foundation. The event will bring together the Arbor Day Foundation, city officials, urban foresters, and community groups to create a fun-filled, educational experience for area school children. Students in each city selected will help plant the trees, giving them an opportunity to take an active role in improving their own communities and to interact with the natural world.
