The Neighborhood Builders program provides general operating support grants of up to $200,000 to two nonprofit organizations in each of the bank's 44 U.S. markets. While Neighborhood Builders recognizes outstanding organizations, the Local Heroes program honors the exceptional work of up to five individuals in each of the bank's markets.
In recognition of selected Heroes, Bank of America distributes contributions of up to $5,000 to the organizations of the heroes' choice.
