Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund

Deadline: January 21, 2009

The Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund was established to promote and enable wildlife conservation through partnerships with scientists, educators, and organizations committed to preserving earth's biodiversity. The Fund supports programs and projects around the world, including North America, Africa, Asia, South America, and marine environments.

Applying organizations must have U.S. nonprofit status; NGOs outside the U.S. can apply in partnership with a U.S. organization.

Funded projects should clearly contribute to the conservation of endangered or threatened species and their habitats. Preference is given to projects that target particular wildlife sustainability issues, including efforts to explore sustainable aquaculture or address sustainable seafood (fisheries management), or to control illegal wildlife trade.
