The Dominion Foundation supports nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the economic, physical, and social health of the communities served by Dominion's gas companies in the states of Alabama, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The Foundation focuses its grantmaking in five general categories: health and human services, education, culture and the arts, neighborhood and community development, and the environment. A list of eligible communities is available on the company's website.
