Environmental Leadership Training Offered

The Institute for Conservation Leadership (ICL) serves a wide variety of local, state, regional, and national environmental organizations across North America. Leading From Within, a five-month ICL program, is designed to strengthen participants' leadership skills and increase their effectiveness as leaders.
The program provides a leadership assessment tool, communication skills building, group experiential exercises, peer exchange, and more. Leading From Within is intended for lead staff, executive directors, and board members who are passionate about their work, energized by a creative peer learning environment, and eager to further develop their leadership potential.
The program includes two three-day sessions (in November 2007 and March 2008) in Zion, IL, with conference calls and coaching time between sessions.
