Foster's Announces New Community Grants Program

Foster's (www.fosters.com.au), a beverage company based in Melbourne, Australia, has announced a new initiative of the Foster's in the Community Program.

Foster's supports "wellness" as both physical and mental health; "culture" as artistic, sporting, and educational activities; and "environment" as all aspects of the natural environment. The program is designed to complement the grassroots, local nature of the other elements of Fosters' community engagement activity.

Foster's Community Grants will conduct two funding rounds per year. In 2006 these will be as follows:

Round 1 -- March 1 to April 28, 2006;
Round 2 -- August 1 to September 29, 2006.
