Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes Seeks Nominations for 2006 Awards

The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes (www.barronprize.org) honors young people between the ages of 8 and 18 who have shown leadership and courage in public service to people and our planet.
Each year, ten national winners each receive $2,000 to support their service work or higher education.
Winners must have organized and led a truly extraordinary service activity that has clearly benefited other people, our fellow creatures, or the planet we share. Nominations can be made by responsible adults who have solid knowledge of a young person's heroic activities.
Consider nominating an outstanding youth volunteers who is working with your organization to improve the environment.
