Nominations for the sixth annual Volvo for Life Awards are currently being accepted online. The Awards honor American heroes - ordinary people who act with conscience, care, and character to help others in need. There are three distinct categories for which individuals can be nominated: Safety, Quality of Life, and Environment.
Six contributions of $25,000 will be made to the charity of choice for the six finalists. Three contributions of $50,000 will be made to the winners' charities of choice. One Grand Award winner will also be awarded a Volvo for life. In addition to these awards, nominations for child heroes are accepted for the Alexandra Scott Butterfly Award.
