Kaiser Permanente Funds Community Health Care

Deadline: Rolling

Kaiser Permanente provides support to nonprofit organizations that focus on community health in the regions the company serves, including specific geographic areas in California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland/Virginia/DC, Ohio, and Oregon. There is limited support for national organizations that address the company's priorities.

Kaiser Permanente is vitally concerned about disparities in health care, especially among racial and ethnic minorities. The general grantmaking categories include Vulnerable Populations, Evidence-Based Medicine, Education to Advance Medical Knowledge, and Public Policy. Grantmaking initiatives related to Safety Net Partnerships and Community Health Initiatives comprise the bulk of current grants. These initiatives are discussed on the website.

Application guidelines for the various regions, and the national grant program, are available at Kaiser Permanente.
