Nike Teams with Changemakers Sport for a Better World Competition

Nike is partnering with Ashoka and its Changemakers initiative to support social entrepreneurs around the world who are using the power of sport to ignite change in their communities. Changemakers is building the world's first global online "open source" community that competes to surface the best social solutions, and then collaborates to refine, enrich, and implement those solutions. Youth programs the world over are using the power of sport to ignite change. Now, they're coming together. They're sharing ideas, successes and passion for sport. They're playing with the future.
Through the Changemakers and Nike Sport for a Better World Competition, the very best examples- judged by leaders in the world of sport, including Olympians, leaders from international sports bodies, and Nike President & CEO Mark Parker- will be awarded small grants and receive attention that can help them build awareness and attract other funding.
