Captain Planet Foundation has developed a new mission statement and program direction for the foundation, focusing on improving the quality and delivery of educational programs that help children and youth better understand the world around them and preparing them to maintain and improve Earth's environment and the natural systems of which it is comprised. Since its founding, CPF has funded projects that have benefited over 825,000 youth in all 50 United States and internationally.
The Foundation is seeking an Executive Director to manage day-to-day operations and, with the support of the Board and officers, lead the development and implementation of all aspects of its operations.

* Board Relations and Public Communications
QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum of ten years of professional experience working in nonprofit organizations especially in the fields of environmental education, school improvement/education reform, and/or environmental conservation
* A Bachelors degree is required, however a Masters or Doctoral degree in a related field is preferred
* A person of integrity and stature with proven leadership experience, exemplary nonprofit management skills, and a strong commitment to the environment and education
