April 5, 2008 The Maryland Department of Neighborhood and Environmental Programs is sponsoring a seminar focusing on trees and development. The presentations are open to the public, but will primarily be geared towards civil engineers, architects, landscape architects, developers, builders, contractors, and so on. Speakers will include: Jim Urban, Urban and Associates; Chris Cowles, The Care of Trees; Mary Owens, Critical Area Commission; and Jan van Zutphen, Environmentalist.
