Trees Forever is hiring for three full-time positions. The successful candidate will be able to fulfill two of the four roles- Field Coordinator, GIS Coordinator, Landscape Architect, and Program Manager- for a full time position and live in one of the following geographic areas: Cedar Rapids/Marion (headquarters office), Quad Cities, Muscatine, Clinton, or Ames, Des Moines.

FIELD COORDINATOR

Roles and Responsibilities
* Communicate with and advise volunteers, community tree groups, private landowners, and watershed groups by providing appropriate resource materials and/or making appropriate referrals regarding the following:
* Local volunteer committee orientation and development.
* Volunteer recruitment and coordination.
* Technical assistance.

* Facilitate public participation in group settings.
* Coordinate, lead, and participate in planting events.
* Fulfill requests for Trees Forever speaking, presentation and display engagements when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills
* BS in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Natural Resource Management or related discipline; ISA Certified Arborist a plus
* Experience or background in water quality issues, urban forestry, private lands conservation, landscape design, prairie restoration, community planning, or landscape ecology.

Salary and Benefits
* Salary: FULL TIME only: $34,000 - 45,000 depending upon combination of positions, skills, and experience.
