National Fish and Wildlife Foundation: Pulling Together Initiative
The Pulling Together Initiative, a program of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), supports nonprofit organizations and government agencies engaged in collaborations that will help control invasive plant species. To be competitive, a project must prevent, manage, or eradicate invasive and noxious plants through a coordinated program of public/private partnerships.
In addition, funded projects should increase public awareness of the adverse impacts of invasive and noxious plants. Most funded proposals focus on a particular well-defined area, such as a watershed, ecosystem, landscape, county, or Weed Management Area.
