Deadline: Various
The A.J. Muste Memorial Institute supports projects that promote the principles and practice of nonviolent social change. Funded projects must be concerned with one or more of the issues to which A.J. Muste dedicated his life: peace and disarmament, social and economic justice, racial and sexual equality, and the labor movement. Through the General Grant Program, the Institute makes about 25 to 35 grants annually to grassroots activist projects in the U.S. and around the world, giving priority to those with small budgets and little access to more mainstream funding sources.
The remaining application deadlines for 2008 are April 11, July 18, and October 3.
