Deadline: June 30, 2009
The Kodak American Greenways Program is administered by The Conservation Fund. This program recognizes both individuals and organizations for their leadership in preserving and enhancing national outdoor heritage in the United States.
Nominations of individuals, organizations, corporations, and public agencies that have made outstanding achievements related to greenways, blueways, trails, and open space systems throughout America will be considered for the 2009 National Kodak Awards. Up to four winners will be selected.
In addition, 2009 Kodak American Greenways Program Grants will be awarded to eligible land trusts, local governments, and other organizations for small greenway projects that advance the program's goals: catalyzing new greenway projects, assisting grassroots greenway organizations, leveraging additional monies for conservation and greenway development, and promoting the use and enjoyment of greenways.
