The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) is a membership organization that advocates for the provision of adequate and affordable housing and strong, viable communities for all Americans- particularly those with low- and moderate-incomes. NAHRO members administer U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development programs such as Public Housing, Section 8, CDBG, and HOME.
NAHRO is accepting nominations for the following awards:
* M. Justin Herman Memorial Award - Honors an exceptionally qualified person who has made outstanding contributions to the quality of life through service in the field of housing or community development.
* John D. Lange International Award - Honors a person who has made contributions to the international community.
* Elizabeth B. Wells Memorial Award - Honors a commissioner for outstanding service.
* MSC Community Service Award - Recognizes outstanding members of Manufacturers and Suppliers Council of NAHRO engaged in voluntary community service.
