Program Manager, Trees Forever (Marion, IA)

Trees Forever is hiring for three full-time positions. The successful candidate will be able to fulfill two of the four roles- Field Coordinator, GIS Coordinator, Landscape Architect, and Program Manager- for a full time position and live in one of the following geographic areas: Cedar Rapids/Marion (headquarters office), Quad Cities, Muscatine, Clinton, or Ames, Des Moines.

PROGRAM MANAGER

Roles and Responsibilities
* Communicate and manage the program delivery expectations and standards with field and administrative staff.
* Provide leadership in developing and monitoring goals, work plans, timelines, budgets, media strategies, reporting schedules, and evaluations for one or more of Trees Forever's current Programs.
* Establish and build relationships with existing and potential partners and sponsors.
* Act as a liaison between local communities, volunteers in Iowa and sponsoring organizations.
* Assist or lead writing of grant proposals.

Technical and Knowledge areas:
* Experience working with MS Project, MS Office
* Knowledge or experience in project management
* Experience in managing people
* Experience in grant writing or fundraising

Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelors degree in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Natural Resource Management, Ecology, Community and Regional Planning, or related discipline.
* Experience or background, in water quality issues, urban forestry, private lands conservation, landscape design, community planning, prairie restoration, or landscape ecology.

Salary and Benefits
* Salary: FULL TIME only: $34,000 - 45,000 depending upon combination of positions, skills, and experience.
