The successful candidate will expand and update databases and conduct research analyzing USDA Forest Service land management legal cases. This is a unique opportunity to work on a project with significant publication opportunities and to develop quantitative and/or qualitative research based on this project tailored to a candidate's interests, including the development of predictive quantitative models.
Qualifications:
PhD candidates must have a JD degree or a MS degree in forest policy, natural resources policy, political science, public administration, or a related field. MS candidates must have a 1) JD or professional masters degrees, or 2) a bachelors degree in forestry, natural resources, environmental studies, political science, public affairs, or a related field.
