The Urban Forest Stewardship Initiative Intern is responsible for assisting Friends of the Pittsburgh Urban Forest's Urban Forester in the care of small City-owned trees as well as providing support to community groups and Tree Tenders participating in tree care and tree planting activities. This is a full time seasonal position; the work schedule may be varied and includes regular evening and weekend activities. Ideally, the Project Assistant will begin on May 15th and end on August 15th; however, the timeline is flexible.
