Urban forestry programs impact more diverse groups than any other state forestry agency activity. Thus, there is a greater challenge for state urban forestry coordinators to identify, understand, and involve varied populations when planning or implementing services.

The Outreach Services Strategies for all Communities guide will help you engage diverse groups in your community. Start by learning more about the multiculturism of your area.
