Funders’ Network Local Sustainability Matching Fund (Round Two)

Deadline: October 1, 2012

The fund provides matching investments from national foundations on a competitive basis to build partnerships between sustainability directors and local place-based foundations to advance discrete sustainability initiatives that demonstrate broad-based community support and engagement. Round one funding provided $250,000 in awards to five innovative city sustainability projects.

Round 2 of the Local Sustainability Matching Fund began on August 6th with the release of the Round 2 Request for Proposals. Proposals are due on October 1st.

Check out the Idea Bank to read summaries of all the project ideas that were submitted to the Fund. We hope to attract additional interest in urban sustainability projects beyond those that we were able to fund.
