For Policy and Partnership that Creates Healthy and Sustainable Urban Forests
The Public Service Medal is a national honor given by the Alliance for Community Trees (ACT). The Public Service Medal is awarded to that public leader who has worked most ardently to integrate trees into local, state, or national communities. The recognition is open to any elected or appointed public official whose efforts have made a contribution to urban forestry by improving community trees and the neighborhoods which they are in.

Open to any elected or appointed public official.
Honorees will receive an engraved medal for display.
The nomination should include:
* A narrative regarding how the nominee fits the award.
* Optional letters of support.
* Optional supplementary material related to the nominee’s activities.
